Deakin & Blue team up with Level Water

I asked Rosie, D&Bs founder, to explain what it’s all about:

“At D&B we don't compromise on fit, feel or function. Our swimwear looks good and feels effortlessly comfortable. It's supportive in every sense of the word, empowering us to be joyful, active and carefree. Designed to last, every piece is made responsibly in London, comes with free repairs and a swim recycling scheme.

The story started when I went shopping for a new swimsuit and found the choice lacking. I realised that swimwear offered either style or substance but never both. On one hand – beautiful, flimsy bikinis for lounging about and ordering cocktails; on the other – serious sportswear that offered no shape, support or style. I wanted a swimsuit that could offer me both. I decided to solve the problem myself. 

I took everything that was wrong with swimwear – flimsy fabric, dull designs, fast fashion, airbrushed models – and turned it on its head. The result? Beautiful quality, sophisticated swimwear that fits like a second skin, lifts us up and makes us feel amazing. And there’s more. Deakin & Blue fosters an incredible community of women who influence designs, share their Body Stories and swim test products – ice milers, channel conquerors and Level Water Swim Collective heroes.”
